Introduction
New York, NY - On October 31, 2011 the Occupy Wall St. movement occupied the largest Halloween Parade in the world, the NYC Village Halloween Parade. Over 500 people in themed costumes showed up and marched into the parade, accompanied by giant puppets and marching bands, in order to spread the message of Occupy Wall St. to the tens of thousands of parade-watchers, as well as national media.
